Role of Predation and Abundance of Biological Control Agents (Ordo Hemiptera, Family Reduviidae) at Subang Palm Oil Plantation Experimen

The Hemiptere Order of the Family Reduviidae has an important role in ecosystem, namely as a natural enemy (predator) insects, hemiptera group itself and other arthropods. This study aims to determine predation abundance enemies order Hemiptera family reduviidae on oil palm plantations. research was carried out area productive plantation village Karapyak, Cintamekar Serangpanjang, Subang, Jawa Barat. is exploratory conducted from September 2022 mid-December 2022. Sampling using letter 'S' transect method with hand picking assisted by fishing nets. Identification laboratory Kampus Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Citra Widya Edukasi, Cibuntu, Cibitung, Bekasi. Data presented form tables plot design drawings field, well sample images species field. analyzed Shannon-Wiener Index evenness calculated according Pielou formula, determined based behavior description mouth type Reduviidae. results obtained 37 individuals consisting 7 genera. diversity index (H') fauna plantations producing plants 0.59 which classified low category. (E') 0.39 depressed evenness.
